Today I have a 20yr old daughter!

...and yes, I am 36yrs old! Last night I was talking to DD1 and telling her to reflect back on her teenage years and just let it soak in that this is the last time she will ever be a teenager. She is entering a new season of life. We talked about goals for the next decade. She told me "mom how do you feel that I'm going to be in my 20's and you'll be in your 30's"?

I just love her so much! I'm very thankful for all of the time I have had with her.

Tonight we will go to The Melting Pot to celebrate with a nice dinner. I was able to snag a Living Social deal for $22 that includes cheese and chocolate fondue. YUM!

    Best birthday wishes for DD. Great opportunity to create a Time Capsule to mark the day possibly including newspaper headline & front sheet, menu from restaurant, a list of popular sayings/slang, small sample of well known product like Coke label, photo of DD's room, favourite magazine, business or school business card, logo, note from granny, best friend, boyfriend, photo of car or most used transit, gas stn price signage, day-in your-life, fav outfit and a message to yourself for your future.

    Wonder DD's reaction opening at age 40?
