Kohl's

August 4th, 2012 at 03:32 am

Went to Kohl's for the 2nd time this week.
Made out like a bandit!
They had a huge clearance sale going on and I had a 20% coupon. Spent $156 saved $393. Got back $20 in Kohl's cash. Wonder why I didn't get $30 in Kohl's cash since you are supposed to get $10 for every $50 you spend. Any ideas?

All of the clothes are for me except the clothes on the far right, those are for my daughter.

Far left you can't see very well but its a black blazer and black slacks.

How much was the sales tax? I don't think that counts towards the $50 threshold. So lets say, as an example, that of the $156 you spent, $8.xx was tax, that means you actually bought $147.xx, therefore only 2 Kohl's cash offers were earned.

    I think M E 2 is correct.

Very nice. I spent $61 the other day and got four shirts for my husband and three for my daughter. I too have more Kohl's cash to spend. They like to pull you back in!!

Nice haul, hope you enjoyed the entire experience. When you buy 16 new items, do you let go of existing items re-gift, sell, donate or trash to keep the volume equal?

@Snafu Yes, I do. I recently took 7 trash bags of clothes and donated them to the Goodwill. I use TurboTax to log my donations.
